Our Spring Lecture Series
Welcome to our Newsletter
A Letter from the Director
Dear Friends,
As we embark on the year ahead, I want to express my gratitude for the support we have found from you for this center and its mission. We believe that studying Evangelicalism provides a critical perspective into the changing fabric of our American social landscape. Understanding its history and current expressions can furnish all of us with tools for dialogue, debate, and generative discussion.
Our Fall event series showed us how much of a desire there is in our community for a better understanding of Evangelicalism and for constructive conversation around its influential lifeways. To us, this enthusiasm validates our vision of bridging scholarly study to the concerns of our community, and we are excited to put this vision into practice.
We invite you to join us for our events over the coming months as we engage with a broad plurality of scholarly, journalistic, and community voices to help shape the future of this center and our shared understanding of Evangelicalism. We look forward to connecting with you through this newsletter and invite you to follow our Facebook page and subscribe to our YouTube channel to follow our events, watch our lecture series, and catch bonus content we will be sharing.
Together, we can connect our minds to what matters most and build a legacy of scholarship in our community for generations yet to come.
Sincerest Thanks,
Jeffrey Scholes, Director
