Event next week

The Center is hosting an event next week entitled, “Confronting the Heresy of Christian Nationalism: An Evening with Shane Claiborne.” Friday, Sept. 19th, 6:00-7:30 pm, Beth-El Mennonite Church (4625 Ranch Drive, Colorado Springs, CO—just off Union between Austin Bluffs and N. Academy).

Shane is a prominent speaker, activist, and best-selling author. Shane worked with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, and founded The Simple Way in Philadelphia. He cofounded Red Letter Christians, a community of Christian writers and activists seeking to counter the politicization of Christianity with a Christianity imbued with love, grace, and mercy.
